Show organizers for GIE+EXPO held October 24-26 in Louisville, Ky. recently announced new and special attractions for the last day of industry’s biggest event: “Fabulous Friday.”
Kentucky native and returning performer Candy Coburn will light up the stage on Friday evening, Oct. 26, with a bonus concert at Fourth Street Live! Prior to the concert, Candy will be signing autographs at the booth of the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.
New this year is “$10,000 Friday Giveaway” Day, which features four lucky winners who’ll take home between $1,000 and $4,000. The $10,000 Friday Giveaway will start at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. A winner will be chosen every hour for a giveaway of $1,000 at 1:00 p.m., $2,000 at 2:00 p.m., $3,000 at 3:00 p.m. and $4,000 at 4:00 p.m. To be eligible, register for GIE+EXPO. An entry form will be mailed along with badges, and you can enter by returning it to the Nissan Commercial Vehicles booth (7084) by noon on Friday. Four winners will be chosen and must be present to win.
The Power Equipment Trade GIE+EXPO Dealers Choice Awards will be announced Friday at 3 p.m. in the Dealer Resource Pavilion where the results of dealers voting on their favorite GIE+EXPO products in five categories—Wheeled, Handheld, Industrial/Engine, Accessories/Attachments and Business Management Services—will be revealed.
