Parts supplier PartsTree.com is stepping out from behind the company’s website for the first time at the 2013 GIE EXPO to meet dealers face-to-face and introduce a new dealer program demonstrating PartsTree’s continued commitment to helping independent dealers be successful.
PartsTree’s roots are as a local servicing dealer in Texas called Hill Country Outdoor Power (HCOP). According to HCOP General Manager Andy Fogarasi, “We know from experience that the best service comes from the local dealer. Our new PartsTree Dealer Program being announced at GIE+EXPO is designed to help all participating dealers increase their service business and profits.”
He adds that the last 10-15 years have been hard on dealers, with big box competition and the economic downturn causing dealer margins to plunge, leading many dealers to reduce product lines and inventory within each line. This has left many customers without a place to take their equipment for repair work. Fogarasi emphasizes that PartsTree is a fast and reliable source of genuine OEM parts for brands a dealer doesn’t carry and a second source for brands a dealer already carries when the regular channel has the part on backorder.
