The Grasshopper Company, based in Moundridge, Kansas, was recognized for achievements in export growth and overall excellence by the Wichita Business Journal. The awards were presented at a “Manufacturing, Wholesale and Distribution Awards” luncheon hosted by WBJ.
Factors contributing to Grasshopper’s award include

- Company’s dedication to lean manufacturing
- Strong dealer/customer support, as demonstrated by its second consecutive Dealer’s Choice Award in 2016
“It’s an honor to be recognized and to accept these awards,” says Trent Guyer, marketing coordinator at Grasshopper Company. “Surprisingly, the lever-steer zero-turn mower is relatively unknown in many parts of the world, so we really see it as an emerging market,” he said. “And, we continue to reinvest in our infrastructure to stay ahead of the curve.”
