OLC Annual Event Offers Saw, Chain Technology
EUGENE, Ore.—Established way back in 1939 with a modest gathering that included some tractors and log trucks adjacent to the Osburn Hotel in downtown Eugene, the Oregon Logging Conference today is the logging industry’s biggest equipment show now held at the Lane County Events Center & Fairgrounds.
The annual event attracts hundreds of exhibitors offering every imaginable logging machine, attachment, component and service related to the industry. This year, three regional dealerships exhibited at the show in mid February: Cowlitz River Rigging and Woods Logging Supply, both in Longview, Wash., and Smiths Logging Supplies near Klamath Falls.
All three saw good crowds at the event that draws thousands every spring.
