Ricky Cacchiotti Named Stihl VP Product Management & After Sales
Stihl Inc. has announced the appointment of Ricky Cacchiotti to Vice President of Product Management and After Sales. In this key executive role, Cacchiotti will report directly to Stihl Inc. President and CEO, Chris Keffer, and will oversee the company’s U.S. product management, and aftermarket strategy as well as R&D efforts to drive innovation, market share growth, and best-in-class user experiences.
As a 20-year industry veteran, Cacchiotti brings a deep track record of transforming global product portfolios and launching high-performing, user-driven innovations. Most recently, he served as Director of Product Development at Stanley Black & Decker, where he led complex electrification strategies and transformed multiple business units from stagnation to market leadership through strategic road mapping, cross-functional alignment, and collaborative engineering.
At Stihl Inc., Cacchiotti will lead efforts to bring new product ideas from global R&D into the U.S. market, with a sharp focus on battery innovation, accessory expansion, and technical service excellence. The role also includes spearheading the go-to-market strategy for new product introductions, guiding after-sales initiatives, and building out a future-facing roadmap grounded in user insights and market analytics.
“Joining Stihl at this pivotal time is a tremendous opportunity,” says Cacchiotti. “The team’s passion for innovation and user-centric design mirrors my own leadership approach, and I’m excited to build on that foundation. I look forward to collaborating across the organization to strengthen our market position and deliver products and services that truly resonate with our customers.”
“Ricky’s blend of strategic vision, technical depth, and product development expertise makes him the ideal fit to lead our product and aftermarket teams,” adds Keffer. “His proven success in growing complex portfolios, especially within battery and gas technologies, aligns perfectly with our priorities. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the team.”
Cacchiotti will be based at Stihl Inc. headquarters in Virginia Beach, Va.
