EETC Announces 29th Annual Conference Hosted by Echo Outdoor
The Equipment & Engine Training Council (EETC) has announced that its 29th Annual Conference will take place April 15–17, 2026, at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort in Lincolnshire, Ill., with Echo Outdoor Power Equipment serving as the host sponsor.
The annual EETC Conference is a cornerstone event for the power equipment industry, bringing together educators, manufacturers, distributors, and industry leaders to advance technician education and workforce readiness through hands-on training and collaboration.
“This year’s conference continues our long-standing mission of connecting education with real-world industry needs,” says Bruce Tallman, Executive Director of EETC. “We are incredibly grateful to Echo for their long-time support of technician education and for hosting the 2026 conference. Their commitment to training excellence reflects exactly what this event is about—equipping today’s technicians with the skills they need for tomorrow’s equipment.”
The 2026 EETC Annual Conference will feature immersive programming designed to support instructors, strengthen training programs, and advance technician career pathways across the power equipment industry. Highlights include: Factory tours and in-depth product training; training sessions with EFI troubleshooting and handheld battery equipment, as well as collaborative committee work on 2-stroke and EV. The Conference will also feature general sessions on battery disposal and industry-education partnerships.
“These sessions are intentionally designed to be practical and immediately applicable,” Tallman adds. “Attendees leave with curriculum resources, technical insights, and industry connections that directly improve their programs and the technicians they train.”
