Kuczmar Now RedMax VP
Zenoah America (RedMax) officials recently announced the promotion of Andrew Kuczmar to Vice President of the company’s Product Technical Service and Corporate Training Department. Kuczmar has been Director of Zenoah America (RedMax) Product Technical Service and Product Development since August 20, 2007. He has more than 34 years experience in the lawn and garden power equipment industry. The Product Technical Service Group includes the company’s technical dealer, distributor, and corporate training responsibilities for North America. The Product Development Group is responsible for developing commercial, industrial duty handheld equipment for North America, powered by Zenoah’s, Clean 2-Stroke Stratified Charge Engine Technology.
According to Paul Scholl, President, Zenoah America, RedMax, Kuczmar has an outstanding record in the industry for identifying and taking advantage of emerging industry trends in new product development and field technical and product competitive training. He added that the appointment “is a clear indication of the strength we have at Zenoah America and the Red Max product brand.”
Before joining RedMax in 2007, Kuczmar was the Sr. Director of Product Service and Training for Echo Inc. and had held a variety of technical service and management positions with Echo or over 32 years. A long-time promoter of the small engine industry and technical training, Kuczmar was a co-founder of Equipment & Engine Training Council (EETC), served as a first two-term EETC president of EETC, and in 2006 received EETC’s prestigious “Spirit” award for dedication to the ideals of community, commitment to education and support of the organization.
