Maruyama Hosts Certifications Courses At Texas Headquarters
Maruyama U.S. recently hosted a sales and service certification class at its headquarters in Grand Prairie, Tex., bringing together dealers, distributors and territory managers from across the country as part of its ongoing commitment to professional development and industry leadership.
During the program, President Kazuki Uchiyama addressed attendees, sharing perspective from his career with Maruyama in Japan, where he worked across both engineering and sales roles. That dual experience, he explained, reinforces the company’s philosophy that understanding the needs of professionals in the field is essential to building better equipment.
“Understanding the needs of end users is central to our commitment to engineering excellence and product quality,” Uchiyama told the group.
Sales sessions covered key dealer support initiatives including the Fleet of Four program, Five Day Buy Back program, and five-year commercial warranty, along with the American Heroes initiative recognizing outdoor power professionals. The team also reviewed product highlights across the Maruyama catalog and presented the brand’s growing digital marketing strategy, including collaborations with industry influencers such as Spencer from SB Mowing, Maruyama’s main ambassador. Through this partnership, the brand continues expanding its visibility among landscaping professionals and the next generation of contractors.
On the service side, Maruyama’s technical team led hands-on training focused on diagnostics, maintenance and repair across the company’s outdoor power equipment and chemical application products. Sessions also included safety guidance and best practices for the correct operation of the machines, ensuring dealers are equipped to support professionals working in the field.
