Rotary Adds To Sales Staff, Robert Simmons To Focus On South Carolina
Rotary Corp. has appointed a new territory sales manager to serve its fast-growing dealer network in South Carolina, according to an announcement by Mark Smith, Chief Sales Officer. With an extensive background in every area of dealer operations, from sales to service, Robert Simmons is the perfect fit for this role.
Simmons, who owned and operated a successful mower dealership for 15 years in Charlotte, NC, will be responsible for sales, dealer support and business recruitment in his new position with Rotary.
“Robert knows firsthand the many challenges and opportunities facing today’s servicing dealer,” comments Smith. “He will be an invaluable asset to our sales team with his dealership experience and industry knowledge. Our goal is to build a partnership for success with independent dealers, who are the backbone of the outdoor power equipment industry. We are excited to have Robert on our team.”

The family-owned business operates seven U.S. distribution centers plus alternate shipping points strategically located throughout the nation. Approximately 80% of Rotary’s complete line of parts is manufactured in the U.S., including mower blades, trimmer line and filters at the company’s facilities in Georgia and Arizona.
