PIONEER POWER EQUIPMENT

Pioneer Power Equipment entered the market in late 2024 with a compelling promise: To bring durability, performance, and dealer-level support to both homeowners and professionals. Embracing both modern battery technology with tried-and-true gasoline power, the Pioneer product line-up includes 62 V battery and 2-cycle gas handheld tools, gas lawn mowers, pressure washers, portable and inverter generators, snow throwers, chipper/shredders, and even electric log splitters.

The brand has made a clear statement—not through flashy gimmicks, but through an earnest mix of thoughtful product design, trusted engine partners, and a commitment to customer support through a strong and established nationwide dealer network. Pioneer products are sold to customers exclusively through independent lawn & garden dealers, not big box retailers. Distribution is handled in the U.S. by Power Distributors, based in Columbus, Oh., which has six distribution centers, and in Canada by Power Source Canada, an Ontario-based distribution company with two distribution centers.

Pioneer products deliver top-notch performance and reliability to tackle the toughest outdoor challenges for homeowners and professionals. From lawn mowers and trimmers to generators and blowers—every product is built to withstand a wide range of operating elements and perform flawlessly. The products combine cutting-edge technology with user-friendly designs to make conquering outdoor tasks easier and more efficient.

And Pioneer aims not just to compete on specs, but on complete customer experience which includes sales, technical support, warranty, and part availability. Most of the gas-powered equipment uses Briggs & Stratton engines—a big plus for customers as these engines deliver real value in terms of reliability, parts availability, and serviceability. Customer expectations are higher than ever, and the Pioneer brand and line-up are designed to empower dealers with products they can confidently represent.

Entering the outdoor power sector is no small feat, but Pioneer is off to an incredible start. The inclusion of both battery and gas lines allows it to serve a wide market, while using trusted engine partners helps increase confidence in the product. Selling exclusively through lawn and garden dealers aims to build credibility and loyalty among customers who value local quality and service.
