Redesigned By Exmark: Radius Zero-Turn Mowers

Exmark has redesigned its popular Radius zero-turn mower family for 2023. The new Radius models provide commercial cut quality, durability, and reliability, combined with increased comfort courtesy of upgraded operator seats and revised side pod controls.

A heavy-duty fabricated steel frame is at the heart of every Radius machine. The Radius frame design places the heaviest components, including the engine and hydro drive system, low and centralized in the frame for a low center of gravity. When combined with larger drive and caster tires, Radius provides enhanced stability and confident handling on varied terrain.

Features

Each Radius model features Exmark’s exclusive UltraCut deck technology. Decks are fabricated and welded from high-strength steel and feature the company’s exclusive flow-control baffles for consistent cut quality in a wider range of cutting conditions. A redesigned discharge chute provides increased discharge consistency for a better finished appearance.

Radius E-Series and Radius S-Series models are available with a choice of 48-, 52- or 60-in. UltraCut Series 3 cutting decks. Radius X-Series models upgrade to the 5.5-in. deep UltraCut Series 4 cutting decks, in a choice of 52- or 60-in. widths.

Operator comfort was a high priority for Exmark in the Radius redesign. Every Radius features an isolated footrest, which significantly reduces vibration and bumps that reach the operator’s feet. 2023 Radius models also feature upgraded operator seats. Radius S-Series and Radius X-Series models upgrade to the same adjustable full-suspension operator seat found on Exmark’s premium Lazer Z models.

Exmark designed the new Radius to be reliable and easy to service, with a removable floor pan, tool-free flexible belt shields, a flip-up seat, and an integrated jack receiver in the frame. Radius E- and S-Series models have just two annual grease points, while Radius X-Series has four annual grease points.

When combined with the reliable integrated hydro transmissions and durable commercial grade engines, Radius models are quick and easy to maintain. Radius X-Series models also feature tapered caster pivot bearings, with heavy-duty cast steel caster forks and semi-pneumatic caster tires for the ultimate in maintenance free durability.

2023 Radius models feature a full commercial warranty: Four years or 500 hours on Radius E-Series models; four years or 750 hours on Radius S-Series models; and four years or 1,000 hours on Radius X- Series.
