Stihl MS 500i Chain Saw
The MS 500i is the first ever Stihl chain saw with Stihl fuel injection technology. With the one of the best power-to-weight ratios on the market, and outstanding acceleration, the innovative MS 500i is ideally suited for professional forestry personnel and tree service professionals in tree felling, harvesting and processing of large timber.
The STIHL MS 500i chain saw packs plenty of power in a lightweight package with precise fuel-metering for optimal performance. The MS 500i is a 79.2 cc saw, with a fuel capacity of 785 cc—packing a big punch with its weight at just 13.9 lbs.
A simplified starting procedure requires users only push the primer bulb and pull the starter cord, while achieving rapid acceleration enabling the saw to provide maximum power immediately. An optional wrap handle version, gives the chain saw the ability to be used in multiple positions for felling or limbing with hands in the proper positions. Guide bar lengths range from 16 in. to 36 in.
